AIDAN - Eurovision Announcement Letter.png

Hello, my friends,

I am returning to Eurovision.

For the past two years, I’ve lived and breathed music in a way I never have before. Writing, rewriting, chasing melodies at 3am, and pouring my heart into more than 45 song demos. Every lyric, every chord has been part of a bigger journey - one I wasn’t quite ready to share until now.

During this time, I’ve also experienced some of the most unforgettable moments of my life: performing to thousands of you, hearing your voices rise above mine, feeling that connection that reminds me why I do this. In those moments, I realised something powerful: my music is no longer just mine. It belongs to all of us.

Again and again, you’ve asked me to take that energy, that voice, and carry it onto a bigger stage. You’ve told me to dream bigger, to fight harder, to represent Malta on the global stage. And today, I can finally say I will submit my song to Malta Eurovision 2026.

This time, I feel more prepared than I have ever been. More certain in who I am as an artist. More confident in the story I want to tell. And more determined than ever to stand on that stage. Not just for myself, but for every single person who has believed in me over the last five years.

Some nights it felt like chasing the midnight sky, other nights your voices chanting my name sent a cold shiver down my spine.

Malta’s Eurovision journey has been built on passion and resilience. Maybe this is the moment we dare to achieve a great result again. The time to chase Malta’s dream, together.

I don’t know how this story will unfold. But I do know this: I’m stepping into it with a heart of fire, a song I believe in with every part of me, and a country behind me that deserves to shine brighter than ever before.

Thank you for your love. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for pushing me to believe even harder in myself. Jien hawn ghadni nistenna - waiting for this moment. Let’s go all the way.

With all my love,

Aidan
